Many of our guests have often commented that they were not aware that there was so much to “see & do” on the Tablelands, so here are what we think are the "must sees", while you visit ...

Close to our Park,  in easy walking distance, you will find:

*   Platypus Park (come & see the little Platypus & the friendly Turtles)

*   Herberton Township, including the Herberton Mining Centre

*   Malanda Township, incorporating the Malanda Falls, the Malanda Diary Centre, Nerada Tea

*   Milla Milla Waterfall Circuit

*   Mungali Creek Falls & Dairy

*   Mareeba ... we have several coffee plantations for you to visit and along the way there are

Need to do some shopping ...

BIG4 Ätherton Woodlands Tourist Park is just 1.5km's from the Atherton township.  Atherton boasts a variety of shops.  IGA is 1.5km’s away from Woodlands behind the Tourist Information Centre.  IGA is open from 7am – 8pm daily and stocks a variety of fresh Tableland produce .

Woolworths is just 2km’s away in Cook Street, open every week day until 9pm, Saturdays until 5pm, closed on Sundays.  In the Woolworths complex you will also find Country Target, a Chemist, Butcher, Jeweller, News Agent, Gloria Jeans Coffee & Sub Way.  Other shops in the Atherton township include COD Seafood, Brumby's Bakery, BIGW & speciality stores including  hairdressers, hardware stores, several beauticians, clothing shops & bakeries.
