Who and what is Parkun?
Parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, they are safe and easy to take part in, hosted by Parkrun volunteers.
These events take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and encourage people of every ability to take part; from walkers or those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience; everyone is welcome!

Even better still, the Parkrun in Atherton is just a very short walk from our Park, on a portion of our beautiful rail trail -- every Saturday at 7am -- so there is no excuse -- remember to bring your registration tag.
